A New Public Noticeboard to be sited next to Parish
Approval has already been obtained from St Erth Parish Council (SEPC) to locate the SERA noticeboard immediately to the left/south of the existing council noticeboard which is located near The Green Lane Park and SEPC Car Park. SERA’s noticeboard will match SEPC’s almost identically in shape and colour, aside from having SERA’s logo at the top, and the wording ‘PUBLIC NOTICEBOARD’ underneath. This noticeboard will prioritise advertising regular groups, clubs, and events in the Methodist and Church Halls, and elsewhere in the village as appropriate.
The cost of £1,494.40 inc VAT. for the noticeboard and the approximately £100 installation cost by a local tradesman.
Future To be considered
Install a bench between St Erth bridge and the Causeway - this has been discussed over many years
Save the Lamb and Flag Smelting Works SERA has tried and tried to get something done to save this important listed building it is now getting to a stage where it is going to be past salvaging
Organise a Litter Picking Day - litter doesn't appear to be too much of a problem at the moment.
