Playing Fields
The waste land at Battery Mill Lane is being levelled and seeded to form a useful community place and to be restored as "The Playing Fields" which will double up as a Village Green. Researches are being carried out with local children and village groups to ascertain their needs and requests. Ideas include a basket-ball court, amphitheatre, paintball, activity area in the wooded spaces, picnic area and a community space for BBQs and fetes and a shelter for the youth to use with i-pod connection.
More ideas needed please.
